Refurbished Club Room

Although the room was very nice we felt there is scope for some improvement. In the bathroom there was no facility to hang clothes in the dry area outside of the shower. In the bedroom there is no longer any drawers to keep personal items that are frequently used but not left out on display. In the wardrobe we were saddened to find only 8 coat-hangers to store 2 peoples clothes for a 2 week holiday. We found the new beds to be very comfortable but still the same old lumpy pillows. On the balcony, the glass panels that replaced the old railing are smart but obstruct the view and wonder why clear glass was not used as in other hotels

Return to Rio Park

After about 20yr we returned to Rio park. We booked a newly refurbished junior suit family room and what a great choice it was. Maid service was excellent. Food was good as it always was but with some extra choices. Entertainment was excellent with the option of two venues. Pool area was clean and spacious and plenty going on in the Rio Park. Definitely will return. Thank you

Junior Suites

We stayed in one of the new Junior Suites, as we had a disabled friend with us the bedroom arrangement in them was perfect and spacious enough for him in his wheelchair, and to be able to move around , so it made the holiday experience better than expected,

Disappointed

We booked one of the new superior Club rooms and were very disappointed to find the room very small and completely empty, not even a kettle. It took a few trips to reception to finally get a kettle, soft drinks in the fridge etc. The drinks facility is a one off and nothing is replenished. The dressing gown would fit Twiggy but not us. Food was cold the first 2 nights but then someone had blood running out of the chicken so sent it to the management who gave them a bottle of wine as an apology but they then had a meeting with the manager. From then on what a difference, Everything was hot and really enjoyable. The other complaint was that it was really hot and our room faced the sun. The room was boiling hot and we couldnt sleep even with the balcony door wide open We were told air con was not on until May and that they couldnt provide a fan. It seemed rather strange that reception was lovely and cool with air con blowing. Entertainment really good and staff friendly but not a patch on other Med Playa hotels.

Food

Stayed here a few times and loved it . Food has always been excellent but this time was awful, hot food was always cold good job there was a microwave. Selection of food was poor. Hope it improves as I want to come back. Great location.

Buen hotel

Pasamos una noche y nos sorprendió la reforma que estaban haciendo. Han dejado las habitaciones y los pasillos nuevos y está todo impecable!

Rio Park March 2018

Chose this hotel as it was away from the strip but not too far from anywhere. Everything was good and good value but 2 minor gripes. There was only 1 plug socket plus the shaver socket in the bathroom. And the lifts seem to have a life of their own going past empty or with one 2 people in I caught the Benidorm Bug nothing to do with the hotel so I was grateful for the many English TV channels I could watch whilst resting up

return again and again

Love this hotel, great welcoming atmosphere , excellent food, excellent value. Only problem this time was queues for lifts as 2 closed off for workmen to use. Wouldn´t deter another visit soon.

work noise

Really had a good time as usual & i know we were warned about the building work on going but the noise in our room most afternoons was very bad even well into the evening. we were on the 5th floor & it seemed they were working on the next floor!! my partner likes a nap in the afternoon but found it impossible while we were there 4 weeks Thanks........D.Moore 4 weeks
