We would return

We enjoyed our stay. Room was great and the lady that cleaned it was very nice. The food was good too with lots of options. The entertainment was ok, some of the children shows were too late and should be shown earlier. Reception staff didn’t seem very happy though

First time at medplaya

First tim in Benidorm and medplaya hotel Rio, I was very impressed with this very clean, well run hotel. Our bathroom was modern and spotless as to was our room.

Cheeky 4days away

This hotel is lovely very clean staff are brilliant, very helpful. Rooms are very clean and kept lovely. Food...breakfast are great. Evening meal was just ok!! I would definitely use the hotel again had a great stay.

Pre booking

Was let down by rooms booked in advance not being available.receptionist was argumentative and not helpful,however when senior management became aware and believe me the hotel review page really works!,they couldn’t offer us enough support.We have used this hotel for more than 25 years,always great friendly staff,such a shame one person let’s down a great hotel.That said ,we will return,if anything needs sorting ,bring back the toaster who used to toast your bread and put the eggs back out,because there is nothing worse than queuing for eggs whilst your breakfast is going cold.Those 2 points will not spoil your holiday,I always judge a hotel by its staff and if they are there repeatedly,that tells me they don’t want to leave because they are in a good job.Well done with the refurb and this hotel is full of friendly helpful staff making it one we revisit year on year.
