Rio park
Had a lovely stay at the rio park food was lovely, entertainment was good and staff were friendly. One thing caused us a problem , we was not made aware of the fact that we couldnt leave our scooter at the hotel as we hired it from somewhere else. We have frequently visited this hotel as well as many friends and family. This has never been the case before. Our scooter which we hired for my husband who is unable to walk far obviously the reason we had one! was constantly being moved to the alley away from the hotel by security! At night we had to leave it in a nearby shop which was 50 yards away and get it again the next day. It put a dampner on what would have been a fabulous holiday and hotel which to me seemed very petty.

Hello jennifer We are pleased to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay at the Hotel Rio Park. We are sorry if you have not been properly informed about our scooter policy at the Hotel Rio Park. The scooter companies are aware of it. We have no problems with our guests parking and charging their scooters at the Hotel, all that we ask if that they arrange the scooters direct with reception this way we can make sure that only guests staying in the Hotel can make the use of the facilities. Unfortunately many Hotels have banned the use of scooters altogether, so people were bringing scooters to the Rio Park to park and charge them which is not fair when guests staying in the Hotel cannot find a space to use. Only scooters that have been booked direct with the Hotel are permitted to use the parking facilities, scooters which have not been will be removed. Hopefully despite this setback it would not stop you from returning again in the future. Kind Regards MedPlaya, Guest Relations Team

holiday for my 60th
we stayed in room 1134 which was a refurbished room.although it was very nice it was lacking drawer space and everytime the room above us had a shower water would come dripping through the ceiling in the shower area.we reported it at once but nothing was done.this is down to poor workmanship.

Excellent
Had a great time. Our room on the 12th floor was great perhaps on the small side for a family of 3 but lovely, food and service was great, entertainment the best Ive had in over 30 years in Benidorm. Downside is the public areas ie toilets, which need totally refurbished and the bungalow A1 I was given as a courtesy room was absolutely disgusting and no hairdryer. I am aware you are in the process of upgrading and when this is complete I would say the hotel should be a 3+ We will be back
