Less Priviledges

Pez Espada continues to be a nice destination. It was disappointing to find that the priviledge dining area has been removed as this was one of the highlights of upgrading. The new room deck chairs look stylish but are uncomfortable and unsuitable for older infirm people. The air con unit was a complete mystery. Instructions should be provided. The sun beds would also be better with a thin mattress.

Lots of positives… some negatives

Second time to Torremelinos but first time staying at Pez Espada. Stayed in beach front junior suite, ground floor as it was ideal for my wife and use of wheelchair. Obviously do don’t get the views in this room but everything else was great. The hotel is located in an amazing location for everything. Access to the beach and prom from the suites and a few yards to the pool entrance. Great staff. Negatives…. Usual moans about breakfast with any large hotel but not too much trouble if there about 8.30. Good choice but hot buffet was luke warm my family made the same comments about evening dinner as they stayed half board before our visit. Personally we would never stay half board with so much choice of amazing restaurants close by. The suites were amazing as were the cleaning staff. Could really do with a small pool in the grounds for the price being charged. In our opinion, although the hotel looked beautiful inside, the whole place seemed to have no soul or heart. Entertainment was average, public lounging and bar areas had no atmosphere and felt like sitting in a hospital waiting room. However….. we will definitely return next year as the positives outweigh the negatives.

Fantastic!

Our second stay at this hotel and wont be our last! Had a room on the 7th floor with fabulous views of both the mountains and the sea. The room was lovely with a very large, very comfortable bed. The food is exceptional and the staff friendly, with a special mention for Manuella Bermudez, who was happy to let my husband practise his Spanish with her! Had a brilliant holiday and can thoroughly recommend the Pez Espada.

great hotel

Stayed for 10 nights could not fault this hotel from check in to checkout.Room was lovely and clean towels changed when you needed them,I all ways take a suit.Food great lots of choice and the staff are friendly will go out of there way to help Entertainment is a hit and miss some nights the singer was not to good but I would recommend this hotel

Tuvimos que preguntar mucho en Recepción. La información en la tele no cubría todo. Hacían falta folletos, mapas del hotel, etc..

Holiday With Friends

Had a lovely holiday at Hotel Pez Espada, we had two rooms. Hotel has fantastic location, Room 1010 was front facing and good size room and balcony. Room 1111 was front facing, good size room but with much smaller balcony. Rooms were in need of paint especially on balcony of 1111. Bathrooms could also do with better grouting particularly in shower cubicle and around toilet and bidet. We didnt use the pool but plenty sun beds available throughout our stay. Breakfast was lovely and loads of choice and staff cleared plates away efficiently, and kept the dining area immaculate. All areas within hotel, reception, lobby and bars were lovely and a beautiful smell in all areas. The staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous. Two members of staff went out there way to help me to chase up a lost item. Manuel Navas Lopez was especially helpful and also Crastona who helped me again the following day. Great members of staff and once again thank you both for your help! I would definitely recommend and return to this beautiful hotel.
